Sir Francis Drake

Using various portraits and other available research this candle extinguisher is a very accurate representation of Sir Francis Drake.

He is dressed in doublet with slashed sleeves of which 22 carat gold has been used for the fabric visible through the slashes. A rich burgundy coloured sash adorns the front and back of the piece.
