Margaret Thatcher 'Winning Finchley'

alice_awc

Born in October 1925 in Grantham, Lincolnshire, the daughter of a grocer. In 1979 Margaret Thatcher became Britain’s first female Prime Minister and served three consecutive terms in office. The first Bronte Porcelain candle extinguisher of Mrs. Thatcher depicted her in her first term of office as Prime Minister, a model that very quickly sold out prompting many requests for a second model. Mrs Thatcher is depicted at the start of her parliamentary career on the evening in 1959 that she successfully contested the Finchley seat.

As with the first model Mrs.Thatcher has agreed to personally sign each limited edition certificate that will accompany the model. Each process of design has been approved by her personal assistant.
