In chapter four of Through the Looking Glass The Tweedles recite the poem of The Walrus and the Carpenter.

Here we see the carpenter sat upon the seashore having devoured his share of the poor unfortunate oysters. A single tear upon his left cheek reveals his sense of guilt.
