Tiger Lily

''Tiger Lily'' is the beautiful daughter of an island chief captured by Captain Hook's pirates. She had her hands and ankles bound, and was left to drown sitting on a rock in the mermaids lagoon. She was very brave and showed no emotion, and was cut free by the pirates after Peter imitated Captain Hook's voice. Extensive research was authentic to a Native America Princess. We studied tribal dress and looked at actual costume on display at the Victoria and Albert museum in London which formed part of our inspiration.

The finished costume design was based on Cheyenne costume with its beaded collar and fringed dress. Tiger Lily wears a traditional feather headdress and dream catcher in her hair.
