Emperor Napoleon I

alice_awc

Napoleons rise to fame was as rapid as his demise. He entered the military school at Brienne when he was ten and at sixteen became a second lieutenant.

Eleven years later he was appointed Commander in Chief of the army of Italy and he died in exile in St Helena aged 52.

The candle extinguisher uses inspiration from historic sculpture and depicts Napoleon in his most recognized pose with his left hand rested inside his waistcoat.
