The Bronté Porcelain Company of Malvern were honoured to receive a special commission from the Royal Warrant Holders Association. The commission was to produce a very special gift for the 80th Birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II depicting her favourite Highland pony which had been a prolific winner in the show ring. She is frequently ridden in Windsor Great Park by Her Majesty The Queen.

The English fine bone china pony is mounted within a solid mahogany plinth set with hand painted plaques of scenes depicting Windsor and Balmoral Castles. Also within the plinth at the front a hand painted sculpted plaque portrays the lesser arms of Her Majesty. The back features a bone china scroll with 22 carat gold calligraphy commemorating the event. Her Majesty The Queen is said to be delighted with the piece which is on display inside her private apartments within Buckingham Palace.
